Welcome to our Luxury Ski Chalet Holidays section, with what we consider to be some of the best ski chalets in the French Alps.

Defining a luxury ski chalet holiday is difficult, as it means different things to different people, but the definitions we have used are that the ski chalet itself needs to provide all the creature comforts, all rooms should have ensuite facilities, catering should be of a very high standard, and the all round service should be excellent. Quite a few of these chalets also have luxury features such as a sauna, jacuzzi, and of course that warming log fire!!

Luxury Ski Chalet Holiday Morzine

Snow and Trek are pleased to announce this new chalet to their programme, with flexible dates to accommodate weekend skiers. The chalet has been built to very high specifications this year, close to our other chalet, Chalet L’Ensoleille, and enjoying commanding views of Morzine. The chalet is a 10/15 min walk into the centre of Morzine, and Snow and Trek offer a minibus service to and from the slopes each morning and afternoon.

This chalet is exceptional in its layout and spaciousness and will be appreciated by the more discerning clientele. Entrance Hall with door to garage with heated boot dryer/warmer. Stairs to large mezzanine floor with TV and Games area. BBC/ITV channels available as well as DVD player and WiFi internet access. Stairs to vaulted lounge/diner with huge windows giving a magnificent view of Morzine. The lounge has ample seating and a large log fire. There is also a library with seating for a quiet moment after skiing. On this floor there is a guest washroom. Stairs down to 4 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities.

Catering is of a very high standard - your day starting with a cup of tea or coffee brought to your room if desired. Breakfast would include fresh bread, pastries, cereal, fruit juice, tea, coffee and a cooked choice. On your return from the slopes you will find afternoon tea laid out with homemade cakes or biscuits, bread, jam, honey, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. In the evening our qualified and experienced chef will prepare for you a delicious 4-course meal including wine and coffee. There are tea and coffee facilities available at all times in the lounge. We also have a fruit bowl and an honesty bar. The staff live out. For the comfort and safety of our guests the chalet is designated no-smoking.

Luxury Ski Chalet Holiday Chamonix

Perfect for small to medium groups and families, or corporate clients looking for a quiet location, this beautiful wood and stone built chalet has been recently refurbished to update it's amenities, yet still retain it's mountain chalet charm; located a stones throw from Flegere cable-car.

On the top floor you will find 4 bedrooms sleeping 8, each with a private bathroom. All of the bedrooms step out onto a large covered balcony, which we believe has one of the best views of the Massif in the valley. There is a spacious lounge with TV/DVD, stereo and library plus large comfy sofas to relax on in front of the log burning open fire. The ground floor also has a large raised balcony, which is perfect for après ski drinks or barbeques in the springtime.

One of the highlights of staying in Chalet Sapin is our cuisine, cooked breakfast morning, afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes or cookies, and a full 3 or 4 course evening meal with local wines 6 days per week, staff have 1 day off! Several days in the week we offer ski hosting, showing our guests the best spots on the mountain and our favourite restaurants for lunch! As well as catering, transfers Geneva-Chamonix-Geneva are included in the prices, together with Minibus transport in resort.

Luxury Ski Chalet Holidays Courchevel

Set in the charming alpine village of Le Praz - Courchevel 1300, this newly constructed chalet offers an exceptional degree of comfort and is elegantly and tastefully decorated and furnished. Situated opposite the ski lifts and the runs back home, it is in a quiet location although only a couple of minutes from the village centre. Groups of 8 or less can enjoy exclusive use of the chalet.

The spacious top floor living/dining area has a log fire, large picture windows and balconies on 3 sides giving an abundance of light and warmth and superb views of the surrounding mountains. The chalet has four bedrooms - 1 dbl ensuite, 1 twin ensuite and 2 further twin rooms sharing a separate shower / wc.

The chalet is deluxe standard and as such you will be offered full cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and a 4 course evening meal with quality wines for 6 days. Usually Thursday will be staff day off where you can dine at a local restaurant.

Chalet Kiana is a newly built chalet, combining traditional Savoyard style with modern luxury. Located in the picturesque village of Les Contamines-Montjoie it offers some great skiing and other winter activities in a snow sure resort with 120 km of well-groomed and uncrowded pistes.

The chalet sleeps twelve in six double/twin rooms each with their own en-suite bath and shower room. All rooms have balconies, fluffy gowns, tea and coffee making facilities and hair driers. There is a large, very comfortable and airy living area with open log fire, some stunning Alpine views, and a wooden sun terrace. Relax those aching muscles at the end of the day in our sauna and jacuzzi room. Luxury Ski Chalet Holiday Chatel Portes du Soleil

The chalet is run by owners Paul and Helen Thrupp. We offer summer and winter chalet holidays in Chatel in the heart of the Portes Du Soleil. The chalet is perfectly located approx 90 minutes from Geneva airport and a 5 minute walk from the centre of Chatel and the Super Chatel ski lift. It nestles snugly on the side of the mountain with spectacular views in both directions along the valley.

In traditional alpine style Chalet des Arbres is comfortable and inviting. The living area, with its raised open fire and comfy sofas, is the ideal place to relax and wind down after the day’s activities. In the dining area the refectory style table is where you will enjoy our superb cuisine and the opportunity to get to know your fellow guests. There is a Sauna and Hot Tub which are available to use all year round. The 4 bedrooms are decorated in traditional style with en suite or private bathrooms. There are two family rooms and two twin / double rooms.

Winter services include transfers to and from Geneva airport, complimentary glass of champagne on arrival, cooked or continental breakfast, afternoon tea and home made cakes, 4 course evening meal including wine, pre ordered lift passes and full use of the Hot Tub and Sauna. Luxury Ski Chalet Holiday Chamonix

Situated less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix and 5 minutes walk from the Aiguille du Midi cable car, this lovely chalet is ideally located so that all your winter amenities are close at hand. The Cham bus stop is also only 50 metres away which will take you to all parts of the valley.

Recently renovated and newly furnished, the chalet provides a comfortable and friendly atmosphere with fabulous views. The beautiful living/dining room on the first floor has been designed in a traditional style creating a warm, friendly and spacious environment for you to relax, with comfortable sofas and chairs surrounding an open fireplace. Chalet Ensoleille has been constructed to our high specifications and sits above the main Morzine/Montriond road with unrivalled views across the valley. The free ski bus stops on the main road serving both Morzine and Ardent (for fast access to the Porte du Soleil area). The chalet is a short walk from either the bustling bars of Morzine or the quieter hamlet of Montriond. Snow and Trek offer a minibus service to and from the slopes each morning and afternoon.

The chalet is extremely spacious and comfortably furnished to a high standard, and will sleep up to 14 in 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The chalet has a spacious and comfortable lounge and dining room with a roaring log fire and magnificent views from the balcony. There are also tea and coffee making facilities for our guests and an honesty bar.

This superb chalet located at the foot of Flegere cable car has been a good friend to us over the last few years; we have returned the favour by constantly updating its facilities. Its 8 ensuite rooms all have superb views and each one is tastefully and individually decorated to give that home from home feeling. There is a ski bus that stops every 10 minutes just 100 meters from the chalet. In addition we have a vehicle to ferry you to and from the lifts each day.

Luxury Ski Chalet Holidays La Plagne

Chalet Chardon is located right by the blue Inversins piste that joins Belle Plagne and Plagne Bellecote. Access to the piste is directly from the ski/snowboard storage room, and skiing/snowboarding back to the chalet is possible throughout the season due to the high elevation of 2050m. Chalet Chardon is a chalet-apartment on 1 level, created using the traditional Savoyard style of construction with stone and timber. This creates accommodation with character, whilst also providing rooms with excellent facilities.

The chalet has an open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area, with 4 large sofas, log fire, Cable TV, video, DVD, Hi-Fi, boardgames, and access to the balcony with excellent views over the piste, and the sunset over the Tarentaise valley in the evenings. There are seven bedrooms - all twins, with ensuite bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths; all except one has access to balconies, and additional single mattresses can be added to 3 of the bedrooms to accommodate up to 17 people in total, plus infants in cots. For larger groups, an additional chalet apartment - with the same high level of specification and 1 or 3 twin rooms, can be made available to cater for around 23 guests. Everyone can come together for meals in Chalet Chardon.

Chalet Chardon can be booked on a bedroom by bedroom basis, or by groups. Included with the 7 nights accommodation is 7 days breakfast; 6 days afternoon tea and dinner with wine (staff have 1 day off); all linen, bath and hand towels and servicing of the rooms. With a combined experience of 18 seasons running Chalets in the Alps (11 in La Plagne), Clair and Phil have developed a reputation for producing a varied and exciting menu of excellent food. Clair supplements her Chalet experience in the winter with summer employment as a chef in some of the best restaurants in Edinburgh - including Mal Maison (French Bistro) and Henderson's (Edinburgh's best known Vegetarian / Vegan restaurant).
